The refreshing balcony beverages have taken a toll, and you excuse
yourself to the bathroom. But this is no ordinary lavatory. A
contraption that reminds you of a giant Swiss Army knife stands in for toilet,
sink and shower. From the bottom, a sink swivels out, revealing the
toilet beneath (which stays in place and empties into the connected plumbing).
Storage bins slide out next, and two shower heads are revealed. The
bathroom itself is one big tiled room with a drain in the center,
allowing you to swivel the showerhead into any position you prefer.

Induction Stoves
To serious cooks, the most important favorable point about induction cookers--given that they are as or more "powerful" at heating as any other sort--is that you can adjust the cooking heat instantly and with great precision. Before induction, good cooks, including all
professionals, overwhelmingly preferred gas to all other forms of
electric cooking for one reason: the substantial "inertia" in ordinary
electric cookers--when you adjust the heat setting, the element (coil,
halogen heater, whatever) only slowly starts to increase or decrease its
temperature. With gas, when you adjust the element setting, the energy
flow adjusts instantly.
Electrolux Laptop
The Electrolux Laptop Kitchen may not have been chosen as one of the finalists in the company's Design Labs future tech competition for 2011, but it still has great potential for those wishing to cook when out and about.
Designed by Dragan Trenchevski, the conceptual product is styled on a
modern laptop, even including a screen. However, where the keyboard
would be, there is a removable chopping board and, underneath, a
four-tiered induction plate with different settings to heat a pan of up
to 10 inches in diameter.
Scan Toaster
If you are the kind of person who rushes around in the morning, but always makes the time for toast,
you will love the Scan Toaster printer concept by designer Sung Bae
Chang. Details are scarce, but we do know that it connects to the
internet via USB and is capable of printing images or text on bread
using some sort of flexible "module" unit heated by a wire.
